I am an inspiring and experienced Primary teacher. I teach Maths and English and offer KS2 SATs preparation for pupils in Year 6. I also speak Italian and love teaching it. I enable all my pupils to achieve their best and believe in themselves.

I started my primary teaching career in 2005 in a multi-ethnic primary school in North West London. Aside from fulfilling my role as a KS2 Class Teacher, I was given the role of Curriculum Leader to devise planning that was inspiring and motivating for all. Over my time at the school I taught all curriculum subjects, including Italian and Drama from EYFS to Year 6.

In September 2011 I moved to Oxfordshire and joined a school in Oxford as a Year 6 teacher. I learnt to adapt my teaching style to support learners with a wide range of educational and emotional needs.

I joined my most recent school in September 2012 as a Year 5/6 teacher. Over 10 years I demonstrated consistently good and often outstanding practice in a range of subjects, including English, Maths and RE.

One of my main responsibilities was preparing the Year 6 pupils for their end of KS2 SATs exams and a smooth transition to Secondary School. I strived to enable all my pupils to achieve their best but also be ready to face the challenges of life ahead.

I am passionate about developing resilience, helping pupils to learn from their mistakes and use a Growth Mindset in their studies.
