My name is Colleen. Im a TESOL certified English tutor with 5 years experience teaching. I have 20 years experience as a Violin player and I like to create a fun and relaxed atmosphere. I look forward to seeing you in class.

For violin, I have taught students these skills in the past:

- Rhythm, voice and musical exercises

- Sheet music, music note memorisation and Suzuki method listening skills

- Proper poster, clapping, bowing, plucking, and song exercises

- Catering each lesson to fit students specific needs and goals, ensuring they are learning at their own pace

- Including complex vocabulary, exercises and knowledge so students can grow in their understanding of music and maintain a love for music education

- Creating a safe space for students to ask questions, make mistakes, practice, and discover the wonderful world of music

I have also been teaching English online for 5 years, tutoring hundreds of clients both one-on-one and in group sessions online. I have had dozens of students who keep coming back regularly for many years, where Im able to create a bond and help them specifically with their educational needs.
