Before QTS, I obtained a TEFL certification and taught English as an Additional Language as well as GCSE English 2020-21. Since obtaining QTS 180722 and completing a PGDE with a focus on Leadership Development Merit 2023, I have taught KS3-4 Geography Edexcel A and AQA KS3 Oracy Level 3 Criminology WJEC and A Level Law OCR.

Since September 2023, I have been Head of Law and Criminology at a disadvantaged school within Bedfordshire, where I've led curriculum development with a focus on retrieval dual coding and building independence through formative practice. This fresh perspective brought to a historically rigid subject has allowed me to inspire a new generation of well-informed young citizens with the means to understand the political climate which they inhabit.
