I am a huge advocate of active learning, working collaboratively with students through practice questions to ensure information is consolidated but to also acclimatise to exam questions. I love teaching Mathematics in particular!

I have been teaching students for the past two years, during my time at Sixth Form. The two students I have been teaching regularly have are aged 9 and 13 respectively. They have both just settled in the UK, having grown up abroad. Therefore, I have adapted my teaching style and approach in order to facilitate the initial language barrier. However, they are both extremely up to par with their classmates at school and are excelling at their other subjects. As mentioned before, my focus in classes is targeted work and going through questions to identify weak spots.
