Hello, my name is Ganesh. I'm a part-time tutor with over 800 hours of experience since 2021, specialising in Maths KS2, KS3 and GCSE and Chemistry GCSE. I've worked with more than 100 students from a wide range of backgrounds, helping them gain confidence and improve their academic performance. I have tutored privately and through online platforms, supporting students across the UK. I mainly teach students aged 8 to 16, and I've successfully guided many through graded exams, particularly GCSEs. Several of my students have achieved grades well above their targets, which has been incredibly rewarding to witness.

I graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2022 with a degree in Medicinal Chemistry. Alongside tutoring, I currently work for the NHS as a Newborn Hearing Screener and will be starting medical school in September. My teaching approach is structured yet flexible. I begin lessons by setting clear objectives and involving the student in planning their learning. For new topics, I explain key concepts and model examples before moving on to guided and independent practice. A strong emphasis is placed on past paper questions and exam strategies to ensure students are thoroughly prepared. I regularly check in to adapt lessons based on their comfort and progress. Having faced academic challenges myself, I aim to make learning as clear, engaging, and manageable as possible.
