Hi, my name is Gemma and I teach English to speakers of other languages. I would love to help you on your learning journey and, whatever your level of English is, help you progress to the next goal you have.

I am a very patient person and I will listen carefully to your needs. I have tutored adult students from a variety of different countries online, with lessons covering job interview preparation, international English language exam preparation and practising particular grammar structures. I can help expand your vocabulary with varied conversations, including phrasal verbs and idioms, helping you sound more like a native English speaker. I enjoy reading and watching movies, especially DC, Marvel and Star Wars, but I would love to learn more about you and your interests. I give feedback after each lesson to help with progression and use various teaching materials to make lessons interesting and fun. These can include articles to read and learn new words from, different topics to discuss and express your opinions on and games to help practise speaking and pronunciation. I worked in the London Insurance market for many years experiencing the high pace of this industry, so if you need to improve your Business English skills to progress your career I can help. No matter what your ability, we can progress your English learning journey together. Most of all, I will try and make you feel as relaxed as possible so you can enjoy your learning experience.
