My name is Hamish-James Anderson, and I'm currently qualifying as a solicitor in England and Wales.I studied A-Levels in Psychology, Politics and Economics. I'm passionate about teaching and helping students build confidence in law.

I have teaching and tutoring experience and have worked with students to build confidence, improve academic performance and develop stronger exam technique. I adapt my teaching style to suit each student, whether they need a slower pace with more repetition, a clear step-by-step structure or targeted support on weaker areas. I focus on breaking complex topics down into simple, manageable explanations, and I always check understanding throughout the session so students feel secure before moving on.

My sessions are structured and purposeful but also friendly and encouraging, as I believe students learn best when they feel supported and motivated. Alongside subject knowledge, I help students improve study habits, time management, and how to approach difficult questions under pressure. My goal is always to help students feel more confident and independent in their learning so they can achieve the results they are aiming for.
