I currently teach A-level Physics at The City Academy Hackney, having previously taught Science Physics at Eden Park High School.

My approach to teaching is student-centred, engaging and focused on developing both subject knowledge and transferable skills. I aim to make lessons clear, purposeful and accessible by connecting scientific concepts to practical applications and encouraging students to think critically, ask questions and solve problems independently. I place particular emphasis on developing students' science skills and challenging low expectations while adapting my teaching to address individual learning needs.

I have experience planning and delivering lessons,s preparing assessments and mock examinations, analysing student performance data, administering grades and using assessment to identify and address areas of academic difficulty. I also have experience supporting practical work examinations and collaborative departmental activities.

I continually develop my teaching practice through professional training, including courses in modern teaching methods,s transferable skills, creative thinking, coding and 21st-century teaching. I am also committed to using technology where appropriate to enhance learning. My overall aim is to create a positive learning environment in which students are encouraged to become confident, independent, and successful learners.
