Hello everyone I am Sarah. I offer tuition in the following subjects Early Years KS1 KS2. Maths English and Science for KS3 Maths and English Literature Language for KS4 and Religious Education and Philosophy for KS5.

I have worked with children and young people for over 16 years both in a youth work and educational capacity. Since 2015 I have worked in specialist SEN and mainstream schools both in supportive and teaching roles. Between June 2019 and April 2022 I worked as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant at a local school and then took the leap into Self Employment and I haven looked back I have roughly 20 clients at any time via agencies and private contacts. What I love about 11 and small group tutoring is that I get a chance to establish close relationships with the children Im teaching familiarise myself with their individual learning needs and tailor lessons to suit their strengths whilst also addressing their weaknesses. I am very pastoral in my approach and Im always mindful of a childs mental wellbeing. I believe that the learning journey is just as important as the outcome. I love to laugh and have fun with my students and allow them the opportunity to steer their learning when appropriate.
