Biomedical Science graduate, TEFL-qualified tutor and enhanced DBS holder with 10 years of tutoring experience. I specialise in GCSE and A-Level Biology and Chemistry, providing tailored lessons that build confidence and strengthen understanding.

I have over 10 years of experience supporting learners across a range of educational settings, including private tutoring, mentoring and online teaching. Since 2020, I have taught students from Key Stage 3 through to GCSE and A-Level. My primary subjects are Biology and Chemistry. I have experience helping students prepare for examinations through structured revision plans,ans exam technique coaching and targeted support in areas where they lack confidence.

Since 2022, I have also worked as an online English tutor, delivering 11 lessons to learners from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds around the world. This role has strengthened my communication skills and my ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles, abilities,s and confidence levels. My teaching approach combines strong subject knowledge with clear and accessible explanations. Drawing on my background in Biomedical Science and experience working within laboratory and higher education environments, I am skilled at breaking down complex scientific concepts into manageable and engaging lessons.

I regularly assess student understanding through questioning, discussion and practice exercises, allowing me to identify gaps in knowledge and adapt my teaching accordingly. I provide constructive feedback that helps students build confidence while continuing to challenge them academically. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions,s developing independent thinking skills and achieving their full potential.
