Tara

My name is Tara. I am an undergraduate at UCL, and was head girl of my secondary school. I have been tutoring for over a year now, mainly in History. I try to balance knowledge and exam technique every session, with lots of time for questions.

I have tutored for over a year, mostly A Level History students, but have also helped with English and Mathematics GCSE. I have seen all my students through exams and all have had an increase in their grades.

For a History session, I start off by encouraging the students to explain what they remember. Then I take them through all the necessary knowledge in a concise but thorough manner. Finally, I help them apply the knowledge with the right technique to general and exam questions.
