I have three years of experience tutoring people from Ages 11 to Adults on KS3 Maths Functional Skills Maths and GCSE Maths. I am also flexible to do internationally equivalent qualifications for GCSE Maths. My first year of experience was with Maths GCSE Students at Harris Academy Beckenham I have 12 months of experience at GoStudent and I have another 12 months experience tutoring my family friends. I teach through research-based methods and personalised sessions to help students make a real improvement in their exams. I am also flexible and like to work with the student depending on their behavioral pattern and the problems they have for me to guide them with which vary from session to session. During sessions I always double-check to see if the student understands the information I teach by asking them to explain their working or by answering practice questions in class. I set homework to get an understanding of the progress being made by a student over time. I enjoy challenging my GCSE Maths students by ensuring they do exam questions after each session to help affirm their knowledge exam confidence and exam technique.
